The houses are built to take advantage of the natural resources of the site and minimize their power consumption.
In harmony with the lay of the land, the houses are set in folds within the ground and thereby protected from the prevailing winds. Their design ensures a high thermal and sound insulation. The walls are built with monomur brick and are very résistant to bad weather . These bricks are covered with thick layers of insulating material and then clad with wood or stone. A south or west facing conservatory gives most houses an intermediate space with the outdoors, warm in winter and cool in summer.
In most houses, natural fibre roofs bring coolness in summer time. 100% renewable energies Local environment |
